I’m someone who has a huge obsession with plague doctors/nurses! It started when I was a junior in high school, just scrolling through the internet when I saw one for the first time. I fell in love with them! The way they dress, their mysterious nature, how it can be seen as something scary or dreadful, everything about it just made me feel like I had to embrace it. I got together a bunch of different costume pieces and created a plague doctor costume for October of 2021, and from that moment on it’s stuck with me. Every year I don’t change my costume, but choose to upgrade it or replace pieces for the following year! That same passion lead me to exploring another side of myself! I wanted to decorate my house more, I wanted to create spooky drinks or food, and I just wanted to dive into that Halloween lifestyle! All year round all I want is to watch something spooky or for Halloween to just come back already! I had people taking photos with me, wondering who I was, trying to pull off some tricks for Halloween, it was a blast! I hope to find someone who matches that same energy with me.
