Halloween is the best holiday. Not only is it an excuse to dress up for my birthday, but it's an excuse to dress up - period. I love costumes. I love making, buying, dressing up in things, and Halloween gives me an excuse to do it. I love the stories, the time spent together with friends.
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, because it brings people together and everyone has fun. There's no pressure to buy presents, no forced family gatherings and no stress of religious undertones when half the family is religious and the other is not.
It's just a feel good holiday, and it makes people feel good. What's not to love?
